Sacrifice Brings Forth the Blessings of Heaven

So...Davie is on fire! We ended the month with a baptismal total of 2. Karen and Carolyn. 2 amazing miracles! This is especially amazing because our zone and area are "low baptizing" places. The zone baptismal total for the month was 3, and 2 of them were ours!

And we are happy to announce that on Saturday we are having 2 more baptisms! Chloe and Sophia! Another MIRACLE! So Lisa Posada is a recent convert. She's probably the strongest recent convert I've ever met. She has 2 daughters who hadn't been baptized because their father wouldn't let them. So we began teaching them not knowing what would come from it. Lisa thought they would have to wait until they are 18 to be baptized. Lisa also refused to talk to her ex husband about letting them be baptized, and didn't want us talking to him either. So all we could do is wait! We fasted with Lisa a few weeks ago, and then yesterday she received a letter giving them permission! And the reason why he said yes is because Chloe went to Carolyn's baptism, loved it, and expressed to him that she wanted to be baptized too!

We seriously can't contain our joy!

Sacrifice really brings forth the blessings of heaven!

This week we were able to see Karen with her home teachers. She has really bad anxiety and such, which makes her really hard to meet with. And hard to come to church. So we are a bit worried about her. When we showed up, she was shaking because of nerves. She looked awful, but as soon as we prayed, she was fine. We had an amazing lesson!

Carolyn is doing really well! She was baptized one week ago, and she already has a temple recommend and a calling! WOW! She is going to do baptisms on Friday with the YSA branch!

And she bought us sun hats so that we can be "modern missionaries" with the new clothing rules.

Wow. So many miracles. So much joy!

One fun thing we did this week is try a "miracle berry!" They grow in Florida and they are SO COOL! The reason why they are called miracle berries is because after you eat one, anything you eat that is sour tastes sweet! We were eating limes and lemons straight, and they tasted like heaven! So cool!

I love Florida!
