The news for this week is that Carolyn Bridges Pipkin is the newest member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! Everything was perfect. Absolutely perfect! Carolyn is so amazing. She has so much recent convert fire. Even though her family doesn't approve, she is still going strong. She had her interview yesterday to get her temple recommend, and plans on going with the YSA branch on August 5th. This girl is amazing. She is going to change the world!
The other miracle we had this week was meeting Ana. We are doing this thing called "member power hour" where we share a message with members and have them pick a street for us to knock. We had the Nickles family pick a spot for us, and on our last door there, we met Ana. Her best friend is Sister Aller in the ward, and they came to church together yesterday! We were then able to follow up with the Nickles, and Sister Nickles cried when we told her of the miracle we witnessed! It was AMAZING!
One of the great things about living in Florida is mango season :) I love it here! In the past week we have been given over 25 mangoes. Wow! Good thing for freezers! This time of year EVERYTHING you eat has mango in it. Mango bars, mango smoothies, mango salads, mango chicken, mango everything. It's amazing! We also get the chance to try fun fruits like fresh guyava, starfruit, and lychee nuts. How fun!
Last p-day after emailing, we got to go to the swap shop. It's a lot like the opalocka flea market, which we went to in Hialeah, and it's awesome! It's seriously like another world. They have a farmers market, and people from all over the world who sell things from their countries. I love how diverse the people are here.
That's pretty much it! We are so happy to have had 2 baptisms in July, but now we are in a finding stage. We are excited to see who we will meet, and what miracles we will see her in Davie!
I love you all!
