New apartment :)

This is us!
3840 W Broward Boulevard Apt 104 Ft lauderdale, FL 33312

Hello,

My advice to you all today is to DO ALL OF YOUR HOME AND VISITING TEACHING!!! But seriously, you never know the good you do. There are literally hundreds of inactive people in this area who would be coming to church if they just had friends to sit with, or someone to confide in. Never forget how important your calling is as a home or visiting teacher. You change lives!

This past week was crazy because we MOVED! We said "Bye Felicia" to the ghetto, and hello beautiful Ft. Lauderdale! We are pretty close to downtown, and it's awesome here. Super nice. No more rats, mice, bugs, or geckos. None :) And the sisters we live with are pretty awesome. Life is good!

Carolyn is still set for baptism on Saturday at 4 oclock. We are pumped! She is so amazing, and has overcome so much in order to be here right now. She really opened up to us this past week, and we were able to help her a lot. It's amazing how badly her southern baptist parents hate our church, but they just don't understand. Carolyn is different. Carolyn gets it. Carolyn is going to change the world!

We had interviews this past week. President looked at me and said he can't believe I am actually baptizing in Davie. I said, why, and he said because "nobody baptizes here. Everyone knows that!" Wow, President. At least he understands! We are thrilled to be having 2 baptisms in this very "hard hearted" area.

This week, while we were visiting a less active, she literally fell asleep so we locked up and left. Not ready to change. It was quite the interesting lesson!

So happy to be here in Davie. It's a privilege to help the greatest work on the face of the earth progress. We are so lucky to be able to see hearts change, and people become more like God. We are also lucky that we are able to change ourselves. Sometimes we, as missionaries, forget that the atonement is just as important for us, as it is for our investigators. We can truly do anything through Christ!

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

I love you all! Don't forget to trust!

Sister Danielle Grace Jones
