Ya know...same old same old!

Greetings world!

Congrats to Brandon for graduating! I'm glad I was included in the pictures!

So...contrary to popular belief, my companion is alive and well right now! We had quite the interesting p-day last week when her parents "found out" about the dog bite. In the middle of p-day we got called down to the office for them to take a look at it, and then towards the end of the day we were "invited" to the mission home so that President could take a look. They had no idea that it was so bad! So a few phone calls later, and we were headed to Ft Laud to see a plastic surgeon. And when we got there, we found out that her whole arm was infected, and that the doctor who took the stitches out took them out way too soon! So...we have to wait a week for the infection to go down. We are going back in tomorrow to have him look at it and to schedule her surgery. My companion is a champion!

We are having quite the problem with hard hearted people here in Davie. We basically just knock all day. Every day. in 90 degree weather. And nobody says yes to a prayer. Nobody. BUT WE HAVE FAITH! I have never been in an area quite like this before. It's hard, but we know we will see miracles!

Luckily for me, I have an awesome companion. We get along so well, and even though everything is hard, we just laugh through! We did, however, have a pretty cool miracle last week with the Riley/Crisman family. We helped convince them to baptize their 8 year old daughter this Tuesday, and we are hoping to baptize the father.

This week was Passover, which meant quite a bit of rejection for us! But we do service in a Jewish pantry twice a week so we got to learn a lot about it. Pretty cool!

Uh...that's it! Pray for us to find more people to teach!

Jack Fruit...what a weird place we live in!
