Hailey's Baptism

Pictures of Haylee's beautiful baptism and temple tour!
So this week was hands down the best, most miracle filled week in my mission. We had 1 baptism, and found 11 new investigators, most of whom have dates.

Haylee was baptized on Saturday! Everything was perfect. The ward is so supportive of her and the rest of her family. We also went on a temple tour with the family that morning. If everything goes well, we will be taking Haylee to do baptisms for the dead on Saturday!

The other good news, is that her step dad, Marlin, has agreed to be baptized now as well! His date is the 26th! We have to get them married, and help them stop smoking, but it's not like we haven't been through this before with other investigators :) So many miracles are about to come!

The other huge miracle is Tom! Tom's son was baptized in the Lauderhill ward last week, and Tom has decided he wants baptism too! But Tom doesn't speak Spanish like his wife and kids, so we get to teach him! He is also going down on the 26th. He is already inviting all of his friends to his baptism.

Hooray for this awesome fathers who want forever families!

We also have Amber. She is scheduled for baptism on the 2nd, but we will probably have to push it back for conference. AND we are also working with Wendy, Chantelle, Bill, Marie, and Vladimir. Wendy, Chantelle, and Bill came to church and loved it! They are all Haitians, and I love them so much. This is my first English area, and it's really interesting because in Latin wards you get to know Latin countries a lot, but in English wards, you get to know the rest of the world! Super cool!

I found this scripture yesterday and it changed my life. I have been through so many ups and downs, but I know that Christ is there for me. I feel so unworthy and don't feel like I deserve his grace or his help, but it's still there. He is always there. D&C 45:3-5
3 Listen to him who is the advocate with the Father, who is pleading your cause before him—
 4 Saying: Father, behold the sufferings and death of him who did no sin, in whom thou wast well pleased; behold the blood of thy Son which was shed, the blood of him whom thou gavest that thyself might be glorified;
 5 Wherefore, Father, spare these my brethren that believe on my name, that they may come unto me and have everlasting life.

So many miracles. Such a great area. So many people coming unto Christ.

I never want to leave!

Love,

Sister Jones :)
